Hi I’m Rick de Groot, former marine, design lead and tech philosopher. Over 15 years design experience. Started as consultant on UX & interaction designer, evolved to Design lead and grew to managing a design team.

Leading is always done through example. For years I've done a lot of design work myself and still contribute with design work on a regular basis. But it is also about creating sensible processes and structure that a team can follow and advocating why design matters in the organization.
